DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE ASA SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for ABSA GROUP
LIMITED and that as a result of the dividend declaration relating to ABSA
GROUP LIMITED (ASA) the Trustees of the ASA Share Instalment have declared
a dividend amount of 240 cents per ASANIC share instalment that is
payable on Monday, 3 September 2007.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 24 August 2007. The share
instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 27 August 2007
and the record date will be Friday, 31 August 2007.
