Eland announced today, 7 August 2007, that its 51%-held subsidiary, Beestkraal  
Platinum Mines (Proprietary) Limited, has been granted New Order Prospecting    
rights for Platinum Group Metals on various prospective properties located near 
Rustenburg in the North West Province. The properties comprise various portions 
of the farms Beestkraal 290JQ and Boschpoort 284JQ and the entire farm          
Nooitgedacht 289JQ.
