RESTRUCTURING OF THE BOARD AND RELEASE OF FINANCIAL RESULTS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements the company
wishes to announce that Mr. Norman Preston, currently a non-executive director,
has accepted the position of financial director with effect from 5 August 2007.
Due to the uncertainty of the ongoing negotiations surrounding the potential
sale of certain brands the board is unable at this point of time to accurately
determine the treatment of certain items within the Annual Financial Statements.
Once these negotiations are concluded, which the board expects to be in the next
10 days, the board will be in a position to publish the results and conclusion
of the negotiations and release the audited results that accurately reflect the
position of the company.
