Posting of Sycom`s annual report
In compliance with section 3.22 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, and
further to Sycom`s reviewed group results for the year ended 31 March
2007("reviewed results"), released on SENS on 25 May 2007, the annual report was
posted on Friday, 10 August 2007.
Further to the reviewed results, the annual financial statements contain a prior
year restatement of the revaluation reserve of R19.2 million, due to an over
accrual of capital expenditure relating to the Paarl Mall development ("the
restatement"). The restatement has had no impact on the investment property
valuation or distributable income disclosed in the reviewed results.
As a result of the restatement net asset value per unit for the year ended 31
March 2006, as disclosed in the reviewed results, increased by 11 cents per unit
to 1 300 cents per units .
