ANNOUNCEMENT - OFFER TO SHAREHOLDERS OF GRAND PARADE INVESTMENTS LIMITED ("GPI")
Shareholders of Dynamic Cables are referred to the offer circular to GPI
shareholders dated 24 January 2007 which contains an offer to all GPI
shareholders to acquire all, or part, of the issued ordinary shares in the
capital of GPI, for a purchase consideration of 8 ordinary shares in Dynamic
Cables for each GPI share ("the GPI offer").
Shareholders of Dynamic Cables are advised that, pursuant to a hearing before
the Executive Committee of the Securities Regulation Panel ("the Committee")
held at Johannesburg on 18 June 2007, the Committee ruled on 7 August 2007 that
the GPI offer has lapsed and cannot be revived ("the Ruling"). Dynamic Cables
is still awaiting reasons for the Ruling from the Committee.
Dynamic Cables has 3 (three) days from the date of receipt of the reasons for
the Ruling to lodge an appeal thereto.
Shareholders of Dynamic Cables will be advised of any further developments in
this regard.
