RESULTS OF PRIVATE PLACING AND LISTING OF ABE ON THE ALTERNATIVE EXCHANGE OF THE
JSE LIMITED
PRIVATE PLACING
PSG Capital (Proprietary) Limited is authorised to announce that in terms of the
private placing of shares in abe, as detailed in the Abridged Prospectus
published on the Securities Exchange News Service on 7 August 2007, in the press
on 8 August 2007 and in the Prospectus dated 7 August 2007, 37 000 000 shares at
a price of 200 cents per share were placed with select investors ("the private
placing"). The private placing was substantially oversubscribed.
LISTING OF ABE
As the required public shareholder spread has been achieved pursuant to the
private placing, the listing of the issued ordinary shares of abe on the
Alternative Exchange ("ALTX") of the JSE Limited has become unconditional.
Accordingly, 100 000 000 ordinary shares in the share capital of abe will be
listed on ALTX from the commencement of trade on Friday, 17 August 2007. The
shares will trade under the abbreviated name "abe", with share code "ABU" and
ISIN ZAE000102059.
