TRADING STATEMENT
Clientele Life achieved significant growth in new business for the year ended 30
June 2007 with the Embedded Value of new business growing by 67% to R302
million.
Despite the significant acquisition costs of the new business which in terms of
the company`s accounting policies are expensed up front, shareholders are
advised that it is expected that both headline earnings and earnings per share
for the year ended 30 June 2007 will be 10% to 20% higher than last year.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors. The publication of the results
is expected on
20 August 2007.
