Enaleni Pharmaceuticals announces changes to Board of Directors
Shareholders are advised as follows:
Resignations:
Having completed the handover of the pharmaceutical business to incoming CEO
Jerome Smith and with the sale of the Consumer and Vitality Division businesses
progressing according to plan, Trevor Edwards, Joint CEO, who in June 2007
announced his retirement from the business, has resigned from the board with
effect from 17 August 2007.
Andrew Hall, the Enaleni CFO, has resigned from the board with effect from 17
August 2007 due to family reasons and a decision to return to Johannesburg. The
appointment of a replacement for Mr Hall is well progressed and will be
announced in due course.
New appointments:
The Board has appointed Mr Chris Aucamp as Commercial Director with effect from
17 August 2007. Mr Aucamp, a chartered accountant, has been the financial
director of Cipla Medpro for 11 years and has substantial knowledge of the
pharmaceutical industry. Mr Aucamp will also oversee the CFO function of the
Enaleni group until such time as a replacement for Mr Hall is announced.
