CAPITAL REDUCTION OUT OF SHARE PREMIUM ANNOUNCEMENT ON MITTAL STEEL SOUTH AFRICA
LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("MLAIHA")
With reference to the Capital Reduction out of share premium announcement, the
Directors of Mittal Steel South Africa Limited have declared a return of capital
of 1021 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 3 September 2007 to ordinary
shareholders, recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on
Friday, 31 August 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
MLAIHA, will receive a Mittal Steel South Africa Limited capital reduction out
of share premium of 1021 cents per security on Monday, 3 September 2007 in terms
of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and
Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the Capital Reduction out
of share premium) in order to participate in the Capital Reduction out of share
premium will be Friday, 24 August 2007.
MLAIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the Capital
Reduction out of share premium from the commencement of business on Monday, 27
August 2007, and the record date will be Friday, 31 August 2007.
