TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Cape Empowerment Trust`s fully diluted
headline earnings and fully diluted earnings for the half year ended 30
June 2007 are expected to be between 230% and 250% higher than the previous
comparable period, being the half year ended 30 June 2007, due to the
property investments and gaming investments performing better than
expected.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The reviewed
results are expected to be published on or about 30 September 2007.
