FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcements released on SENS between 2 September
2005 and 17 July 2007, the directors of ZCI wish to inform shareholders that ZCI
and Vedanta Resources Plc expect to finalize the independent investment bank`s
terms of engagement in the next 7 days, which will enable it to undertake its
valuation of the 28.4% of Konkola Copper Mines plc ("Konkola") shares held by
ZCI through its wholly owned subsidiary, ZCI Holdings S.A.
As soon as the terms of engagement are finalized, ZCI will release a further
announcement containing details of the expected timing of the valuation process
and ZCI shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in
ZCI`s shares such further announcement is made.
