GRINDROD PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT
Grindrod Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ivan Clark as the
new Chairman of the Board to succeed Mr Murray Grindrod who has decided to
retire, after 21 years as Chairman and 50 years with the group.
Mr Grindrod`s retirement from the Grindrod Limited Board will be effective from
31 August 2007.
Mr Clark, who retired as Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2006 is the
current Deputy Chairman.
Mr Alan Olivier, the Group Chief Executive Officer, expressed immense gratitude
to Mr Grindrod for his invaluable contribution to the Grindrod group over the
years.
