TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Esor has just completed its interim period for the
six months ended 31 August 2007 and are advised that Esor`s earnings and
headline earnings per share for this period are expected to be between 21 and 25
cents per share compared to 8,4 cents per share for the six months ended 31
August 2006. Shareholders are also advised that the company expects the turnover
for the year to 28 February 2008 to exceed R 800m. The financial information on
which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
Esor`s auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 August 2007 are expected to be published
on SENS by the middle of November 2007.
