ACQUISITION OF NEW GENERATION SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD ("NGS`)
SecureData shareholders are advised that the company has concluded an agreement
for the acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of NGS. NGS distributes,
supports and provides implementation services for a range of information
security technologies that specifically address `internal threat` and `voice
security` issues. In line with SecureData`s focus on information risk
management, the acquisition of NGS will provide the company with a presence in
this fast growing segment of the information security market. The effective date
of the transaction is 01 August 2007 and there are no conditions precedent.
Although this acquisition is not material to SecureData and does not require any
formal disclosure in terms of the JSE Limited Requirements the board of
directors considered it appropriate to advise investors and shareholders of this
strategic investment.
