RESIGNATION OF COMPANY SECRETARY OF ABSA GROUP AND ABSA BANK
Mr William Somerville has resigned as company secretary of Absa Group and Absa
Bank with effect from 5 October 2007. He will be taking up a corporate
governance and company secretarial consultancy role outside the Group.
Mr Somerville joined Absa in 1990 and was appointed as company secretary in
1995.
An announcement on his successor will be made in due course.
