Strike at Sallies` Witkop operation ends
Sallies announced today that the strike at its Witkop operation, by wage payroll
employees of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), has been settled.
Management`s offer of an average 8% wage increase has been accepted by NUM and
all employees involved in the strike action will return to work by midnight
Saturday, 15 September.
The Buffalo operations were unaffected by the strike action.
