TRADING STATEMENT
ELB is currently finalising its results for the year ended 30 June 2007
which will be released before the end of September 2007. In this regard,
shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share ("HEPS") and
earnings per share ("EPS") are likely to be 125 cents (2006 - 44 cents)
and 111 cents (2006 - 7 cents) per share, respectively. Headline earnings
of continuing operations per share are likely to be 181 cents (2006 - 91
cents) per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors.
