DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON FIRSTRAND LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("FSRIHA")
With reference to the dividend announcement dated 17 September 2007, the
Directors of FirstRand Limited have declared a final dividend of 43 cents
per ordinary share payable on Monday, 22 October 2007 to ordinary
shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of business
on Friday, 19 October 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
FSRIHA, will receive a FirstRand Limited final dividend of 43 cents per
security on Monday, 22 October 2007, in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank
Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to
participate in the dividend will be Friday, 12 October 2007.
FSRIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the
dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 15 October 2007, and
the record date will be Friday, 19 October 2007.
