Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the above Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities
(HOT EDS), would like to inform warrant holders who rolled their HOT EDS into
the "New" series of HOT EDS of the positions in which their securities closed
out yesterday, Thursday 20 September 2007 and to inform warrant holders of
their new positions.
This has been done on a one-for-one basis. If there is a difference between the
intrinsic value inherent to the "Expired" HOT EDS and the less expensive "New"
HOT EDS this will accrue to the client as seen in the cash per ratio above. If
the intrinsic value inherent in the expired HOT EDS is less than the "New" HOT
EDS, then a ratio will be applied. For example, if the old position/new
position has a 4:3 ratio. This implies that for every 4 expired HOT EDS, the
warrant holder receives 3 "New" HOT EDS. Any cash owing to the holder will be
paid out.
