APPOINTMENT OF SENIOR EXECUTIVE
Alwyn Cronje has been appointed as the head of Group Sales and Marketing for
Brikor as well as Managing Director of its Concrete Division. He commences his
new role with effect from 1 October 2007.
Alwyn Cronje joins Brikor after 10 years with the Lafarge Group where he was the
Executive Sales and Marketing Director and a board member of Lafarge Roofing
South Africa. In addition he was since inception, the Executive Chairman on the
board of Marulelo Roofing Solutions, Lafarge`s BEE company.
Alwyn Cronje brings extensive executive experience from various organisations
and boards including president of the CMA (Concrete Manufacturers Association of
South Africa), Vice-President Roofing Division CMA, Director of C&CI (Concrete
and Cement Institute of South Africa) and also Director of Lafarge Gypsum South
Africa.
