TRADING STATEMENT
New Clicks` shareholders are advised that the group`s diluted headline earnings
per share for the year ended 31 August 2007 is expected to be between 40% and
50% higher than the previous financial year. This range is higher than that
indicated in the group`s interim results on 9 May 2007.
Earnings have benefited from continued strong trading, expense growth being
maintained below revenue growth, ongoing positive cash flow generation and the
impact of share buybacks.
Diluted earnings per share for the year is expected to be between 50% and 60%
higher than the previous financial year, with the additional profit arising from
sale and expropriation of property.
New Clicks` results for the year ended 31 August 2007 will be released on SENS
on Thursday, 25 October 2007.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
