Results of the general meeting of Mittal Steel South Africa shareholders
At the general meeting of Mittal Steel South Africa shareholders held at 11:30
on Wednesday, 3 October 2007 the resolutions tabled at the meeting to approve
the capital distribution to Mittal Steel South Africa ordinary shareholders of
404 cents per Mittal Steel South Africa ordinary share, by way of a specific
return of stated capital and change of name of Mittal Steel South Africa to
ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited were approved by the required majority.
The special resolution will be lodged with the Registrar of Companies for
registration. The name change is subject to the registration of the special
resolution by the Registrar of Companies.
Accordingly, the salient dates for the implementation of the capital
distribution and change of name remain as follows:

distribution and in the name of Mittal Friday, 19 October

Mittal Steel shares trade "ex" the capital
distribution Monday, 22 October
Trade under the new name "ArcelorMittal
South Africa" under the JSE code ACL and

Notes:
1. Mittal Steel South Africa ordinary shares may not be dematerialised or

share certificates in the name of ArcelorMittal may be dematerialised or
rematerialised.
