2007
The directors report the net attributable asset value ("NAAV") of the Foord
Compass Limited Variable Rate Debentures ("the debentures") as at 30 September
2007 of 821.2 cents per debenture (30 June 2007: 815.3 cents on an ex-interest
basis). During the quarter, debenture interest of 36.0 cents per debenture was
paid to debenture holders in respect of the half year distribution.
The debentures have earned 10.3% for the nine months ended 30 September 2007,
bringing the annualised total return on the debentures since 1 January 2002 to
25.0% per annum, calculated with reference to the net attributable asset value
and interest distributed. The portfolio`s benchmark return (CPI plus 10% per
annum) over the same period amounts to 15.5% on an annualised basis.
The board will report the full results for the financial year ending 31 December
2007 during January 2008.
