TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that its financial results for the next reporting period will differ by at least
20% from those of the corresponding period of the previous year.
Accordingly shareholders are advised that Finbond`s basic and headline earnings
of 0,8 cents per share for the six months ended 31 August 2006 is expected to
increase to basic and headline earnings of between 12,0 cents per share and 14,0
cents per share for the six months ended 31 August 2007.
The increase can mainly be attributed to the acquisition of the Company`s four
subsidiaries all with effect from 1 March 2007 and the Company`s successful
listing on 15 June 2007, which apart from funding the acquisition of the
aforementioned subsidiaries, also provided the Company with additional capital
to grow its operations.
