ANNOUNCEMENT OF APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER - SOUTHERN AFRICAN ENERGY
JOINT VENTURE
Scharrig Mining, Jonah Capital, (collectively "Jonah Coal"), and Aquila
Resources, who announced their southern African energy joint venture in
Botswana1 last month, are pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm
Campbell as Chief Operating Officer.
Malcolm (44) has enjoyed a 20 year career in coal mining, mainly with Anglo
American`s Coal division, where he gained a good balance of experience across
the operational and project development spectrum.
Robin Berry, COO of Schamin, commented: "We welcome Malcolm on board to lead the
southern African Energy joint venture in Botswana. He brings a wealth and
diversity of experience focused on the coal and energy sector to the position.
His expertise on the ground and knowledge of the broader energy environment will
