CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 to 3.62 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised that Mr Bradley Peter Hopkinson ("Bradley")
has been appointed to the board of Simeka BSG as an executive director with
effect from 10 October 2007. Bradley`s executive capacity will be that of Deputy
Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Bradley joins the company from Microsoft where he held the position of OEM
Regional Director for Microsoft Middle East Africa Region. Bradley, a qualified
Chartered Accountant, has been involved in the IT sector in South Africa and the
Middle East in a career spanning over 10 years. Career highlights prior to his
position at Microsoft, include Financial Director for Hewlett Packard (HP) South
Africa, Country General Manager, Personal Systems Group (PSG) for HP South
Africa, Regional General Manager, PSG Middle East based in Dubai. Bradley has a
solid understanding of the IT industry within the Middle East Africa region and
extensive knowledge of the IT channels across Middle East Africa straddling both
software and hardware.
