APPROVAL OF CHANGE IN NAME OF COMPANY TO ALLIANCE MINING CORPORATION LIMITED
At a general meeting shareholders approved a special resolution to change the
name of the company to Alliance Mining Corporation Limited. The board is of the
opinion that the new name is better suited to the market within which the
company operates. In addition the new name more accurately reflects the
diversity of the business and the Company`s target market. The special
resolution will be lodged with CIPRO on 17 October 2007.
For a period of not less than one year, Alliance will reflect the former name
"Alliance Data Corporation Limited" on all documents of title in brackets
beneath the new name of "Alliance Mining Corporation Limited".
In terms of the Listings Requirements, approval was granted by the JSE for the
change of name and for the abbreviated name "Alliance" to be used with the share
code "ALM" and the ISIN will be changed to ZAE000104733. Shareholders are
reminded of the salient dates below:

Any amendment to the dates and times will be published on SENS. Shareholders
will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise securities in the name of ADC
after Friday, 9 November 2007.
