CAPITAL REDUCTION DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE SHF SHARE
INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the capital reduction amount payable for
STEINHOFF INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS LIMITED and that as a result of the
capital reduction declaration relating to STEINHOFF INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS
LIMITED (SHF) the Trustees of the SHF Share Instalment have declared a
capital reduction amount of 50 cents per SHFNID share instalment that is
payable on Monday, 19 November 2007.
The last day to trade cum capital reduction is Friday, 9 November 2007.
The share instalment will commence trading ex capital reduction from
Monday, 12 November 2007 and the record date will be Friday, 16 November
2007.
No share instalment may be (1) subscribed for, or purchased by a
Non-Resident or (2) sold to a Non-Resident or (3) beneficially held or
owned by a Non-Resident. If notwithstanding the foregoing, any
Non-Resident acquires or beneficially holds or owns any share instalment,
such Non-Resident will not be recognised by the issuer and such
Non-Resident shall have no rights or entitlements of whatsoever nature
under such share instalment.
