Cautionary announcement
Further to the announcement dated 11 April 2007 regarding, inter alia, the
introduction of Black Economic Empowerment ("BEE") shareholders in a new wholly-
owned subsidiary to be formed, that will acquire and hold 100% of all Johncom`s
directly-held operating media and entertainment assets ("OpCo"), shareholders
are advised that Johncom has entered into negotiations with potential BEE
shareholders in OpCo. If the negotiations are successfully concluded they may
have a material effect on the price at which Johncom`s shares trade on the JSE.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in their
Johncom shares until a further announcement is made.
