DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being

have resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix RESI securities
recorded in the register in respect of the quarter ended 30 June 2007. This
distribution will:
- be an amount of 29,10 cents (twenty nine point one zero cents)
(R0,2910) per Satrix RESI security;
- constituted by 29,10 cents in respect of dividends;
- be made to all holders of Satrix RESI securities recorded in the
register on 28 September 2007;
- be effected on 26 October 2007.
The Satrix RESI securities had a Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 36,28 basis
points (0,3628%) (annualised) for the period 1 January to 30 September 2007.
This ratio does not include the cost of acquiring assets. The current TER
cannot be regarded as an indication of future TERs. An unavoidable tracking

result of the Mondi transaction and is included in the expense figures.
The Satrix RESI portfolio engages in scrip lending activities, with the sole
aim of reducing the net expenses in the portfolio. All income received from
scrip lending is used to defray expenses in the portfolio. The Actual
Expense Ratio (AER), including the impact of scrip lending for the above
period and the cost of acquiring assets is 20,70 basis points (0,2070%) on
an annualised basis.
