TRADING STATEMENT AND EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT CHANGE
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements ("Listings Requirements"),
Coronation is pleased to report to shareholders that earnings per share and
headline earnings per share for the financial year ended 30 September 2007 are
expected to be between 50% and 60% higher than those for the prior comparative
period.
Coronation`s results for the financial year ended 30 September 2007 will be
released on or about 13 November 2007. The financial information on which this
trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Coronation`s
auditors.
NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Coronation also advises that Mr Hugo Nelson, deputy chief executive officer, has
been appointed as executive director and chief executive officer with effect
from 16 November 2007. CEO Mr Thys du Toit will remain an executive director of
the Company and will primarily focus on opportunities to diversify revenue
streams in the retail business.
