Withdrawal of cautionary announcement
Further to the cautionary announcement dated 17 October 2007 regarding
negotiations with potential Black Economic Empowerment ("BEE") shareholders
of OpCo, a subsidiary to be formed that will acquire and hold 100% of all
Johncom`s directly-held operating media and entertainment assets,
shareholders are advised that these negotiations have terminated.
Shareholders are advised that OpCo will conclude a BEE transaction post its
unbundling and listing on the JSE Limited as previously indicated.
Accordingly, shareholders are no longer advised to exercise caution when
dealing in their Johncom shares.
