TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Sanyati is in the process of finalising its
reviewed interim results for the six months ended 31 August 2007 and are advised
that it is expected that Sanyati`s earnings and headline earnings per share for
this period would exceed the earnings and headline earnings per share for the
six months ended 31 August 2006 by between 40% and 55%. Shareholders are also
advised that the turnover and attributable profit for the same period is
expected to be between 90 and 110% higher than the six months ended 31 August
2006.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by Sanyati`s auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 August 2007 are expected to be published
on SENS by the middle of November 2007.
