NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS OF CAPE EMPOWERMENT TRUST AND SELECTED
SHAREHOLDERS OF GRAND PARADE INVESTMENTS LIMITED ("GPI")
shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 14 August 2007, the
letter to selected GPI shareholders dated 15 August 2007 and the
extension announcement dated 27 September 2007, regarding a limited offer
to selected GPI shareholders to acquire their GPI shares by way of an
issue of 7 new Cape Empowerment Trust ordinary shares for every GPI share
held ("the limited offer"), which was extended to 31 October 2007.
Notice is hereby given that Cape Empowerment Trust is further extending
the closing date of the limited offer to 31 January 2008
