RESULTS OF PRIVATE PLACING AND FINAL PRICE
With reference to the abridged prospectus of Kwikspace published on SENS on
Wednesday, 17 October 2007 and in the press on Thursday, 18 October 2007, the
closing date of the private placing was Wednesday, 31 October 2007. The offering
met strong demand from a broad array of institutional investors from South
Africa and the United Kingdom. 39,884,615 Kwikspace shares (comprising
24,500,000 sale shares and 15,384,615 subscription shares), will be placed at R
9.75 per share ("placement price"). The offering is raising R 389 million in
total proceeds of which R 150 million will be used by the Company.
The settlement date and expected listing date of Kwikspace, subject to approvals
from the JSE Limited, will be Thursday, 8 November 2007. Any changes from this
expected date will be announced on SENS and published in the press.
