APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CHANGES TO ROLES OF NON-EXECUTIVE
DIRECTORS
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the company is
pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Andrew Chislett as
Director and Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 1 November 2007.
Andrew Chislett has headed up the Risk Services Division for the last four
years and during that time has been responsible for restructuring that
division, disposing of non core assets, negotiating the international
partnership with Jardine Lloyd Thompson as well as driving the Risk Services
acquisition and growth agenda.
Dr Dudu Kunene will revert to his role as non-executive Chairman.
Dr Dudu Kunene, Chairman of Glenrand MIB, commented: "I am delighted that
Andrew has agreed to take up the position of CEO at Glenrand MIB. His
appointment follows an exhaustive external and internal process to find an
individual that can deliver on the growth strategy of Glenrand MIB as a newly
refocused risk services business. Andrew has proven his leadership capability
and business acumen within the company over the past several years and I have
every confidence in his ability to lead this business into a successful
future."
The Board is also pleased to announce that Rick Cottrell has been appointed
as lead independent non-executive director and that Nigel Payne, an
independent non-executive director, has been appointed as member and Chairman
of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee.
