TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, where a company has
previously published a profit forecast, the company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree of
certainty exists that the financial results for the forecast period will
differ by 20% or more from the forecast previously provided to the market.
The Austro prospectus issued on 19 January 2007 contains a profit forecast
for the 12 months ending 31 August 2007.
Shareholders are advised that, for the 12 months ending 31 August 2007, the
company anticipates earnings per share to be between 30% and 40% higher and
headline earnings per share to be between 35% and 45% higher than the
forecast.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been audited or reviewed by the company`s auditors.
The financial results announcement for the year ended 31 August 2007 will be
published on SENS by no later than 30 November 2007.
