Trading Statement For The Year Ended 30 September 2007
Paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE
Listings Requirements") requires companies to publish a trading statement
as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for
the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from that
of the previous corresponding period. Nampak is currently finalising its
results for the financial year ended 30 September 2007, which are
expected to be released on or about 22 November 2007. Shareholders are
advised that following a good trading performance and reduced effective
tax rate, Nampak`s expected headline earnings per share ("HEPS") and
earnings per share ("EPS") for the financial year ended 30 September 2007
will be:
