CHANGES IN DIRECTORSHIP: APPOINTMENT OF TWO NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors of AVI is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs
Nombulelo ("Pinky") Moholi and Mr Adriaan Nuhn to the Board as non-executive
directors. The appointment of Mr Nuhn is effective immediately, while the
appointment of Mrs Moholi will come into effect on 1 December 2007.
Mrs Moholi is currently on the executive committee of the Nedbank Group as
its director of Group Strategy, Marketing and Corporate Affairs. Mr Nuhn, a
Dutch citizen, has over 30 years of experience in the branded consumer goods
industry. Until recently he was the Chief Executive Officer of Sara Lee
International, a position he held for 4 years.
On behalf of the Board I take this opportunity to welcome Mrs Moholi and Mr
Nuhn to the Board.
