Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the above Enhanced Dividend Securities
(EDS), would like to inform warrant holders who rolled their EDS into the "New"
series of EDS of the positions in which their securities closed out yesterday,
Thursday, 15 November 2007 and to inform warrant holders of their new positions.
This has been done on an optimal basis. If there is a difference between the
intrinsic value inherent to the "Expired" EDS and the less expensive "New" EDS
this will accrue to the client as seen in the cash per ratio above. The ratio is
such that the holder receives as many of the new EDS as possible. For example,
2:3 "Old"/"New" implies that the holder will receive 3 "New" EDS for every 2
"Old" EDS held, and any cash due to If the intrinsic value inherent in the
expired EDS is less than the "New" EDS, then a ratio will be applied. For
example, if the old position/new position has a 4:3 ratio, this implies that for
every 4 expired EDS, the warrant holder receives 3 "New" EDS. Any cash owing to
the holder will be paid out.
