FIRST RAND LTD WARRANTS NOTICE
Holders of the Warrants below are referred to the notice to shareholders of
Firs Rand Ltd, regarding the First Rand Ltd unbundling of Discovery Ltd
effective 19 November 2007.
Shareholders of First Rand Limited (FSR) will receive 5.6134300 shares in
Discovery Limited (DSY) for every 100 shares held in FSR. First Rand Limited
shareholders will retain their existing shareholding in First Rand Limited.
With regard to this Unbundling, the following adjustments will be made to FSRQ
positions on Monday, 19th November 2007 (Ex date). The adjustments will be
made to the positions held in FSRQ, as on close of business on Friday, 16th
November 2007 (LDT)
Deutsche Bank AG will not make any adjustments to the terms and conditions of
the Warrants below, but the pricing of the warrant will be based on the new
basket of underlying shares rather than limited to the Firstrand Ltd shares.
Due to the complexities involved in providing dynamic on-screen prices for
basket options, Deutsche Bank AG will not be making competitive on-screen
prices and therefore advise investors to call the trading desk if they wish to
trade these warrants.
