CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with section 3.59 to 3.62 of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the board
of directors of Austro:
Jonathan Freed, founder and Managing Director, of Austro Group subsidiary
New Way Motor and Diesel Engineering (Pty) Ltd has, with effect from
22 November 2007, been appointed as an executive director. With over 44
years experience in the diesel engine and generator business, Jonathan
brings with to the group an extensive and unique insight into South
Africa`s rapidly expanding generator industry.
Robert Friese has, with effect from 22 November 2007, been appointed as
executive director the Austro Group board, taking on a new role as CEO of
the group. Robert has a strong entrepreneurial background, with over 10
years experience in the woodworking machines and tools industry, four of
which were spent representing a German manufacturer in Singapore, where he
was responsible for South East Asian markets.
