RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN AND APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRMAN
The Liberty Group Board ("the board") would like to announce the retirement
of chairman Derek Cooper from the board with effect from 30 December 2007.
The board is most grateful to Derek for the valuable contribution he has
made as chairman and as a director since his appointment to the board on 12
May 1999.
The board is very pleased to announce that Saki Macozoma, currently a
director on the board, will assume the role of chairman.
