possible quarterly distribution by the NewRand Trust to holders of NewRand Index
Securities.

Last day to trade "CUM" distribution: Wednesday, 19 December
Securities trade "EX" distribution: Thursday, 20 December
Record date: Friday, 28 December
Declaration of the amount to be distributed (if any) will be made within 14
business days after the record date.
