TRADING STATEMENT
This announcement was released on SENS on 27 November 2007 under NSX code only,
and erroneously omitted the JSE code NCS.
Shareholders are advised that the earnings per share and the headline earnings
per share of Nictus for the six month period ended 30 September 2007 are
expected to be 2.46 cents and 2.31 cents respectively, in comparison to
earnings per share and headline earnings per share of 5.16 cents and (0.90)
cents relating to the comparative period, being the six month period ended 30
September 2006.
The decrease in earnings is primarily attributable to the profit on the
disposal of interests in subsidiaries of R2.154 million and the write-off of
negative goodwill of R1.132 million in 2006 which has not occurred this year.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors. The results for the
interim period ended 30 September 2007 are expected to be released on 6
December 2007.
