RESULTS OF THE RIGHTS OFFER
Further to the announcements on the Securities Exchange News Service ("SENS") on
26 October 2007 and 2 November 2007, Medi-Clinic shareholders are advised that
the results of the renounceable rights offer of 198 675 497 Medi-Clinic ordinary
shares ("Rights Offer shares") to Medi-Clinic shareholders or their renouncees
at a price of 2 265 cents per Rights Offer share in the ratio of 50.38197 Rights
Offer shares for every 100 Medi-Clinic shares held on the record date of the
rights offer ("the Rights Offer"), which closed on Friday, 7 December 2007, are
as follows:

Due to the fact that the Rights Offer was fully subscribed after taking into
account the excess applications received, the underwriters will not be allocated
any Rights Offer shares.
Share Certificates will be posted to certificated shareholders and safe custody
accounts of dematerialised shareholders or their renouncees, who have followed
their rights, will be updated and accounts credited by their Central Securities
Depository Participant ("CSDP") or broker today, being Monday, 10 December 2007.
4 878 382 Rights Offer shares are available to be allocated to Medi-Clinic
shareholders or their renouncees who applied for additional Rights Offer shares.
The excess applications will be allocated to shareholders or their renouncees on
or about Wednesday, 12 December 2007.
The allocation of Rights Offer shares in respect of excess applications will be
equitable and will take cognisance of the number of Medi-Clinic shares held by
each applicant prior to such allocation and the number of Rights Offer shares
for which application was made.
Cheques refunding monies in respect of unsuccessful applications by holders of
certificated Medi-Clinic shares for additional Rights Offer shares will be
posted to the relevant applicants, at their risk, on or about Tuesday, 18
December 2007. No interest will be paid on monies received in respect of
unsuccessful applications.
