The directors of Capitec and Capitec Bank Limited, the wholly-owned banking
subsidiary of Capitec ("the companies") are pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Kevin Hedderwick as an independent non-executive director
to the boards of both of the companies. Mr Hedderwick is the chief
operating officer of Famous Brands Limited and as such will augment the
board with his extensive retail experience.
Mr Hedderwick`s appointment is effective today, 10 December 2007.
