WESIZWE APPOINTS LEAD ARRANGERS FOR PROJECT FINANCING ITS CORE FRISCHGEWAAGD-
LEDIG PROJECT
In accordance with Wesizwe`s proactive reverse engineering approach to its core
Frisch-gewaagd-Ledig Project ("The Project"), Wesizwe has been able to fast
track its Bankable Feasibility Study ("the BFS") on the Project, which is due
for release in the 1st quarter of 2008.
Wesizwe is pleased to announce that ABSA Capital, a division of ABSA Bank
Limited, Deutsche Securities (SA) (Proprietary) Limited and the Development Bank
of Southern Africa Limited ("the Consortium"), has been appointed by the Company
to act as lead equity and debt arrangers to secure the necessary finance for the
development of the Project. Qinisele Resources (Proprietary) Limited has been
appointed as corporate advisor to the Company for purposes of concluding the
project finance.
