CHANGE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, FirstRand advises the
following change to the board:
Ms Sonja Emilia Ncumisa Sebotsa has resigned as a director of FirstRand
effective 31 December 2007.
Ms Sebotsa was appointed to the board in May 2005 following FirstRand`s Black
Economic Empowerment Transaction. She was nominated to represent the WDB Trust.
Ms Sebotsa recently resigned as an executive director of WDB Investment Holdings
(Pty) Limited.
A replacement for Ms Sebotsa, who will represent WDB, will be announced in due
course.
