DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT ON SATRIX 40 HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES -
("STIXIHA")
With reference to the distribution announcement, the Directors of SATRIX 40
(STX40) have given notice that the following dates are of importance in regard
to a possible quarterly distribution by the SATRIX 40 portfolio to holders of
SATRIX 40 securities.
Last day to trade "CUM" distribution :Wednesday, 19 December 2007
Securities trade "EX" Distribution :Thursday, 20 December 2007
Record date :Friday, 28 December 2007
Declaration of the amount to be distributed (if any) will be made within 14
business days after the record date.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
STXIHA, will receive a SATRIX 40 dividend as declared (if any),per security, in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order
to participate in the dividend will be Wednesday, 19 December 2007.
STXIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Thursday, 20 December 2007, and the record
date will be Friday, 28 December 2007.
No de-materialisation or re-materialisation may take place between Thursday, 20
December 2007 and Friday, 28 December 2007, both days inclusive
